Landy ("the plugin") collects a small amount of anonymous usage data to understand which components and sections are actually used and to catch silent build failures. This page explains exactly what is collected, why, and how to get it removed.
No personal information — no name, email, Figma account, or file/document content is ever sent. Every event is tied only to a random anonymous id generated the first time the plugin runs and stored locally via Figma's plugin storage (figma.clientStorage). This id is tied to your device and plugin installation — reinstalling the plugin, or switching Figma accounts on the same machine, may reset or share this id. It cannot be linked back to you or your files.
The following events are captured:
| Event | What it tells us |
|---|---|
plugin_opened | The panel was opened. |
tile_clicked | Which component/section tile was clicked, on which platform (desktop/mobile), which design variant. |
build_result | Which component/section was built and how long it took. |
setup_run | First-time library setup completed. |
gallery_add_own_clicked | The "Add your own component/section" button was clicked. |
pro_card_clicked | A Pro-only (paywalled) component/section card was clicked. |
paywall_shown | The upgrade paywall dialog or page was shown. |
upgrade_cta_clicked | The "Upgrade" button was clicked (which plan — monthly/lifetime — was selected) and the external waitlist signup form was opened; see "Forms hosted outside the plugin" below. |
tab_switched | Switched between the Components and Sections tabs. |
search_opened | The search field was opened. |
platform_toggled | Switched the desktop/mobile preview toggle. |
settings_opened | The toolbar Settings menu was opened. |
settings_item_clicked | Which item in the Settings menu was clicked (e.g. "Show as Grid", "Create frames"). |
design_menu_opened | The per-card design-variant picker was opened, and on which component/platform. |
design_selected | Which design variant was picked for a component, on which platform. |
Clicking "Upgrade", "Give feedback", or "Support" each opens a form on Jotform in your browser — outside the plugin, which itself never sees or transmits what you enter there. Jotform collects and stores these submissions (including your email address, if you provide one) on our behalf; see Jotform's privacy policy for how they handle it. This data is not linked to your anonymous analytics id and is never sent to PostHog.
Events are sent directly from the plugin's UI to PostHog (EU-hosted instance, eu.i.posthog.com), which stores and aggregates them for us. PostHog acts as our data processor; see PostHog's own privacy policy for how they handle infrastructure-level data.
Every analytics event is tied to a random, non-identifying id, so we have no way to connect it to you or look it up by name or email. If you'd like a specific anonymous id removed, find it in your local Figma plugin storage and send it to support@landy.design — we'll delete the matching records from PostHog. If you submitted a Jotform (waitlist, feedback, or support), contact the same address and we'll have it removed from Jotform on your behalf.
Landy is operated by FOP Siefier Dmytro Viktorovych, a registered individual entrepreneur based in Ukraine.
If what's collected changes, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect it.
